🎵 Song mode

Notes slide down the highway toward the targets. Press the matching key as a note crosses its target. Hold the key for notes with a tail (sustains) for bonus points.

Hit notes in a row to build your multiplier (×2 at 10, ×3 at 20, ×4 at 30). A miss or a wrong press resets it and mutes your part until you hit again.

Glowing notes are Hype phrases. Hit every one of them to charge your Hype meter. When it is half full, press your Hype key for double points.

Easy uses 3 lanes, Medium 4, Hard and Expert 5. Expert adds chords (press two keys together). Drums always use 5 lanes: kick, snare, hi-hat, tom, cymbal.

Gamepads & USB guitars: A B Y X LB (green red yellow blue orange). Back/triggers = Hype, Start = pause.

MIDI: keyboards map C/D/E/G/A to the lanes; MIDI drum kits map by pad. Touch: tap the targets.

Esc pauses. Some keyboards can't register many keys at once — if chords drop, spread players across different sets or add a gamepad.

🎛️ Jam Studio

Pick an instrument and play freely. Set a key and scale, and every pad stays in tune.

Guitar: 1–8 chords, Z–, power chords, letter rows for lead. Bass: Z–, roots, letter rows for notes. Keys: piano layout on two rows, Space = sustain pedal, ←→ octave. Drums: both hands on the home row, Space = kick.

Enter starts the beat. Turn on the backing band to jam over a chord progression — the current chord is shown live.

Looper: press Tab (or ● Record). After a count-in it records one loop; it then repeats while you stack more layers on other instruments.

🌐 Online

One person creates a room and shares the 5-letter code. Friends open Band Jam on their own computer or tablet, choose Play Online → Join and type the code.

Everyone picks an instrument in the lobby. The host chooses a song or a free jam and presses Start. The song starts at the same moment for everyone.

Share this game file with your friends (or put it on a website) so they can open it too. You need an internet connection to connect.
